1. What are the indications for using waterproof bandages?

A1: They are used to cover minor cuts, scratches, and superficial wounds to protect them from contamination during showering, swimming, or handwashing, which prevents infection and speeds up healing.

2. What is the main feature of "SMART THERAPY" bandages?

A2: They are often characterized by being Breathable despite being waterproof, which allows the skin to breathe and reduces the risk of skin maceration around the wound, in addition to having strong adhesion on wet skin.

3. Should an ointment or cream be applied before covering the wound with the bandage?

A3: It is not always recommended. The wound should first be cleaned and dried thoroughly. A mild antibiotic ointment (if recommended by a doctor) can be applied in a small amount only to the wound before applying the bandage.

4. What is the maximum duration the bandage can be left on?

A4: The bandage should be changed daily or whenever it becomes wet, dirty, or when the edge becomes saturated and separates. It is not recommended to leave it on for more than 24 hours to allow the skin to breathe.

5. Are these bandages suitable for sensitive skin?

A5: Most brands, including "Smart Therapy," use Hypoallergenic materials in the adhesive part. However, if redness or itching occurs, it must be removed immediately.
