1. What are the indications for using PANDERM cream?

A1: It is used to treat Mixed Dermatitis, which involves a bacterial infection, a fungal infection, in addition to severe inflammation and itching (thanks to the corticosteroid component).

2. Can it be used on the face?

A2: It is strongly not recommended, especially for a prolonged period. The potent corticosteroid can cause skin thinning, steroid-induced acne, or increased facial hair when used on the face.

3. What is the maximum permitted duration for use?

A3: The treatment period must be very short, usually not exceeding 5 to 7 days. Prolonged use increases the risk of systemic corticosteroid absorption and local side effects.

4. What are the most important warnings regarding its use?

A4: It is prohibited for use on open wounds, for treating acne alone, or if the infection is of unknown origin (viral or non-bacterial/fungal). Its use under diapers must also be avoided.

5. How many times is the cream applied daily?

A5: The cream is usually applied twice (2) daily, as a very thin layer on the affected area, or as directed by the doctor. Hands must be washed thoroughly after use.
