1. What are the indications for using FUSIBACT B cream?
A1: It is used to treat skin inflammations that have an accompanying bacterial infection along with severe inflammation, such as: infected eczema, allergic dermatitis, and conditions that require a strong antibiotic and a strong corticosteroid.
2. How many times should the cream be used daily?
A2: The usual dosage is to apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area two (2) to three (3) times daily, or as directed by the doctor.
3. What is the permitted duration for using this cream?
A3: The treatment period should be short, usually not exceeding two weeks (14 days). Prolonged use of corticosteroids may cause skin thinning or other side effects.
4. What are the most important warnings regarding its use?
A4: For external use only. It should be avoided on large areas of skin, for prolonged periods, or under dressings (Occlusion). It is also prohibited for use in treating acne, viral infections (like Herpes), or fungal infections.
5. Can it be used for children?
A5: Yes, it can be used for children but for a very short period, with extreme caution, and under medical supervision. It should be avoided on the diaper area or skin folds to limit systemic absorption.
